Ethel is a writer with an idea for a comic. Nadia is the artist who is going to bring it to life. The story has been written and the characters have been designed. All that is left is for them to meet for the first time.

Directed and performed by some of NIDA’s most exciting talent, ‘Gothic Von Magic Muscles or; How I Learned to Stop Staring at Myself and Love Being on Zoom’ is an intimate look at insecurity and vulnerability, finding humour and heart in the awkwardness of digital communication. A short play for everyone who wishes they never had to look at their own face on a computer screen ever again.
